I am passionate about customer service and technology.  I strongly believe that every New Zealand business should have a customer experience strategy.  Their strategy should be to ensure that their customers walk out their doors with a satisfied smile on their face, ready to promote and recommend the business to their friends and family.

'Technology has always fascinated me'

My background includes 30 years customer service and management experience in the banking, recruitment and market research industries in England, Australia and New Zealand. Technology has always fascinated me and during my banking career with Westpac Banking Corporation, I was involved in the original testing and implementing of the EFT-POS system in New Zealand as well as the system testing to enable the sharing of ATMs between the major banks. More recently I project managed the transition of a paper-based mystery shopping business to an online system.

I am equally interested in customer service and my management roles within Westpac included organising state customer service surveys, regional competitions and writing customer service newsletters. Since moving to Christchurch five years ago, my interest in customer service and market research led me to contracting to a mystery shopping business as a Business Consultant.

I have extensively researched customer survey methodologies and was thrilled to purchase the New Zealand rights for Digivey survey software.
